ICDS West Bengal Salary 

ICDS West Bengal is working for women and child development in West Bengal State of India. They runs Anganwadi centers in every village of West Bengal. There are two or three workers in every Anganwadi one Sevika and Two Sahayika. They take care of Pregnant women and Children below 6 years in their area or village. Anganwadi Sevika take response of Pregnant women before and after pregnancy. They also play the role of Pre-Primary School teacher by teaching below 6 years of children in Anganwadi center. Anganwadi workers provide food, preschool education, and primary healthcare to children under 6 years of age and their mothers. At present, 355 projects (287 – rural, 23 – urban, 45- tribal projects) are operational in West Bengal. West Bengal Anganwadi Salary increases up to 4000 under increment budget. Selection for the posts of Anganwadi will be based on the performance in written test and Interview and after selection, contenders will get a good amount of pay scale along with other allowance. Salary of Anganwadi Workers will be double after seventh pay commission. So Anganwadi Sevika and Sahayika will get good in hand salary in 2021 is expected. Anganwadi workers would get a total of ₹10,178 a month, up from ₹5,000 that they get currently, and the helpers would get ₹5,089, up from ₹2,500.
