What happens in Flowers in The Attic The Origin?
Olivia’s predicament became stranger and more uncomfortable as she moved into her new house. It wasn’t only the death of the estate. Malcolm’s fixation with his mother Corrine was unnerving when it first appeared in the storyline, and by the time he raped Olivia in his mother’s bedroom, the story had taken such a tragic and frightening turn that you would think it couldn’t possibly be much worse.
That’s when it happened, of course. Malcolm’s nightly visits ended after Olivia was no longer able to have children after giving birth to two healthy sons. The home had reached a state of stasis. But that was only the quiet before the storm.
Malcolm set his sights on a new target when his father, Garland, arrived at the property with his young pregnant wife, Alicia. He decided to wait until the child was born to her son before making his first assault attempt on her. Malcolm was ready to murder his father in order to continue raping Alicia, supposedly in the desperate hope of impregnating her with a baby girl.
