APTRANSCO Andhrapradesh Transmission Corporation invites application from engineering graduate for the post of assistant engineer. All eligible candidates must apply for aptransco ae exam before 12 April 2021. It is a golden chance for engineering graduates from andhra as both apgenco and aptransco recruiting at same time. Aptransco conducting recruitment for electrical and civil assistant engineer. There are total 146 vacancies for aptransco assistant engineer 2021 out of which 136 for electrical and 10 for civil.

Here open means local and non local candidates and L means only for local candidates. category and
women reservation is also applicable. SC-15%, ST-6%, WOMEN 33%.
APPLICATION FEE – 150 rs application processing fee for each candidate. and 350 rs application fee for only open category.
Eligibility for aptransco assistant engineer exam
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Electrical – candidate must have B.E/B.TECH graduation in electrical engineering or electronics engineering from government recognized institute before 1/03/2021
Civil – candidate must have B.E/B.TECH graduation in civil engineering from government recognized institute before 1/03/2021.
AGE – Below 42 years as on 1/03/2021. There is 5 year age relaxation for SC/SC/OBC candidates.
Selection procedure for Aptransco assistant engineer
Selection is 100% based on writtem exam. Candidates scoring high above cut off in written exam will be directly called for document verification.
there is minimum qualifying marks for written exam but scoring above qualifying marks does not mean that you will be called for document verification.
qualifying marks – open – 40% BC – 35% SC/ST – 30% .

Total questions -100
questions based on technical syllabus – 70
analytical aptitude – 30
Total time – 2 hr.
paper is in offline mode on omr answer sheet.

As shown in the notification the candaites can apply to this AE exam with a qualification of btech in electrical engineering or electronics engineering. But while filling the application it is showing the option of electrical and electronics engineering only.so can the ECE (electronics and communication engineering) stream students apply to this exam ?
